Goldenfern Trio - Contrasting Colors - Merino Linen in Oil Rubbed Bronze, Copper & Wheat
This is a great trio for Jennifer Steingass' Goldenfern or any pattern requiring 3 skeins of similar shades. For the Goldfern, we suggest you use Oil Rubbed Bronze as the bottom of the pullover, then Copper and Wheat. As the main color, Noir, Steel, Indigo, or Cashmere Pearl are suggested in the same Merino Linen.
This yarn combines merino and linen in a SINGLE ply for exquisite drape and texture. The linen varies in thickness and resists the dye, producing a linen "halo," perfect for transitional seasons (or every season here in Texas!). Expect some "white" areas - a tweedy effect, that's the linen, which resists the dye.
