Striation Scarf Set, The Grays, One Skein Mohair Silk + 5 Minis (Pattern is NOT included)

Ambah O'Brien's Striation scarf is fabulous when you combine mohair/silk and 5 gradient minis.  We knit it in bright colorblock as a Test Knit with jewel tone minis and Loganberry Mohair (Second Picture is the one Wendy knit)  but our next one will likely be these colors, we just can't decide.  It's a great accessory, so light and soft.  And it's very simple, great for tv or baseball knitting!

One skein of 50 gram Platinum Kidsilk Mohair

Lace weight 70% Kid Mohair 30% Mulberry Silk

50 grams/1.764 ounces

420 meters/459 yard

Five (5) mini skeins of Aussie Extra Fine Sock with Nylon  (4 ply, 85% extra fine merino, 15% Nylon), a total of 100 grams. Each Mini skein:

Fingering weight, 4 ply Superwash 85% Extra Fine Merino, 15% Nylon

Approx. 20 grams/80 meters (87/88 yards) per Mini Skein. 

Recommended needle size 2.5 mm - 4 mm. 

Gauge (stockinette) 28 stitches x 36 rows over 10 cm/4in on 2.35 mm (US 3) needles.  

Australian Merino, Spun in Italy, Hand dyed in Texas in Small Batches.

Hand wash in cold and lay flat to dry for best color retention.  Dyes may run on initial washing.
