Fawn DK Hat Set in Kiwi DK (Polwarth Wool) with Snap On Pom
Have you tried Kiwi DK, our Polwarth wool? It's a 100 year old breed of sheep developed in Australia in the 1800s. The sheep produce a long, soft, fine wool. Polwarth sheep are 1/4 Lincoln sheep and 3/4 Merino breeds. Not quite as soft as Merino wool, Polwarth wool is soft enough for next to skin items and its slight "toothiness" makes your cable and textured stitches pop!
Your Hat Set includes one skein 100 gram/246 yards of Kiwi DK (Polwarth Wool), Snap on PomPom and a winter themed stitch marker.
This set will work with numerous hat patterns. Be sure to check out Joan Forgione's pattern, Huskadoo, which was designed especially for this yarn. Her pattern is available on Ravelry or papermoonknits.com.
