Goldenfern Trio - Contrasting Colors - Merino Linen in Musk Mallow, Mauvelous, Mauve Wine
This is a great trio for Jennifer Steingass' Goldenfern or any pattern requiring a 3 skein gradient. Included in your trio are Musk Mallow (lightest), Mauvelous, and Mauve Wine. We suggest you use a gray, black or blue as the main color ... Steel, Noir, or Blue Heather. You can also consider using Claret if you want to continue your gradient and have a more subtle contrast. If you look at the four skein gradient kits in another listing, Claret is the darkest color.
This yarn combines merino and linen in a SINGLE ply for exquisite drape and texture. The linen varies in thickness and resists the dye, producing a linen "halo," perfect for transitional seasons (or every season here in Texas!). Expect some "white" areas - a tweedy effect, that's the linen, which resists the dye.
