Wayne Thiebaud (1920-2021), renowned American Pop artist, is best known for his enticing paintings of cakes, pies, and candies reminiscent of classic mid-century diners. A life long lover of the arts, Thiebaud spent his early years in the creative pursuits of theater, cartoon illustration, and film editing before exploring his love of painting and producing the iconic works we associate with him today.
