The Amanda Hope Yarn Advent Kit for 2024 is based on the famous Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, a series of woodblock landscape prints by the Japanese Ukiyo-e artist Hokusai (1760–1849).

Mount Fuji is a popular subject for Japanese art due to its cultural and religious significance. You will most certainly recognize the famous The Great Wave off Kanagawa (The Great Wave) with its finger waves in Prussian Blue. 

The kit is 24 minis + one 100 gram full skein. You can choose Aussie Extra Fine Sock with Nylon or Aussie Extra Fine Single Ply. It will include fun extras & goodies.  

US shipping is just an additional $5! Most kits will be sent USPS (except Canada) or UPS.

If you're not in the US or Canada and want to purchase, there will be an ADDITIONAL shipping charge if the Actual amount you've paid is less than $10 the Actual shipping charge so that it can be shipped UPS Expedited (if necessary).  This will not be automatically added when you place your order because we will charge only the actual excess cost over what you pay when you check out, which of course will vary depending upon where you live. If you check out and then the additional shipping is over your budget, you may cancel your order.

Please note there will be a cancelation fee of 3% once you have placed your order. This is only to cover our service fee that we do not get back when doing any refunds from our platform.

• 85% 19.5 micron Extra Fine Australian Merino & 15% Nylon 
• Fingering weight 4 ply Superwash 
• Mulesing Free
• Spun in Italy
• Full-Approximately 100 grams/400 meters or 3.5 oz./437 yards
• Mini-Approximately 20 grams/80 meters or 87 yards each
• Recommended needle size 2.5 mm - 4 mm
• Gauge (stockinette) 28 stitches x 36 rows over 10 cm/4 inches on 3.25 mm (US 3) needles

Aussie Extra Fine Single

• 100% 19.5 micron ExtraFine South African Merino
• Fingering weight single ply Superwash 
• Mulesing Free
• Full-Approximately 100 grams/400 meters or 3.5 oz./437 yards
• Mini-Approximately 20 grams/80 meters or 87 yards each
• Recommended needle size 2.5 mm - 4 mm
• Gauge (stockinette) 28 stitches x 36 rows over 10 cm/4 inches on 3.25 mm (US 3) needles

⚜️Hand dyed in Texas in small batches

⚜️Please hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry for best color retention.  Dyes may bleed slightly on initial washing.  Always test your gauge swatch for dyes bleeding when combining colors.
