Frayed Denim, Aussie Extra Fine Fingering

This is the color of old blue jeans.  There is a green cast to this blue; you may even see bit of yellow or green in the skein, as what happens when your green cast denim ages to that "cool" look of old frayed denim jeans.  Definitely tonal.

This colorway is a bit fussy, so if doing a garment where matching skeins is important, order an extra skein.  This color can vary a bit between batches.  We are having difficulty obtaining one of the dyes needed for this colorway, so please email us if you need more than the current stock.

19.5 micron Extra Fine Australian Merino - Museling Free

Spun in Italy

Approximately 100 grams/400 meters or 3.5 oz./437 yards

Recommended needle size 2.5 mm - 4 mm

Gauge (stockinette) 28 stitches x 36 rows over 10 cm/4 inches on 3.25 mm (US 3) needles

Hand dyed in Texas in small batches

Please hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry for best color retention.  Dyes may bleed slightly on initial washing.  Always test your gauge swatch for dyes bleeding when combining colors.

Note:  As of Oct 2021, one of the dyes used is not available from the supplier at this time, so we cannot do Dyed to Order.
