The Hiberknitalong is a winter KAL to keep us cozy during the darker colder months. Featuring the Glowhair Frost Shawl which can be purchased on Ravelry HERE or westknits.com.

Begin the knit along on December 26 and knit together into the new year and throughout January. Sign up for the knit along anytime from Novebmer 9 onward by getting this pattern individually or in the Hiberknitting 5 e-book.

The pattern will be suitable for adventurous beginners (you should already know how to knit, purl, increase, decrease, and read a pattern), and it will be enjoyable for seasoned knitters too.

There is so much support throughout the KAL so you will find a lot of help and tips on completing each section in the HKAL 2024 Ravelry group. There will be photo tutorials and step-by-step videos to assist you with visualising the techniques and construction.

You'll receive 3 skeins of Aussie Extra Fine Fingering, Gossamer Teal, Teal Zeal, The Tealiest

3 skeins of Superkid Mohair/Silk, Gossamer Teal, Teal Zeal, The Tealiest

Lace weight 72% Superkid Mohair 28% Mulberry Silk

• 50 grams/1.764 ounces
• 420 meters/459 yards
• Gauge (stockinette stitch):  32 stitches x 40 rows over 10 cm (4 inches ) on 3.25 (US 2-6) needles

Aussie Extra Fine Fingering

• Fingering weight 4 ply Superwash 
• 100% 19.5 micron ExtraFine Australian Merino
• Mulesing Free
• Spun in Italy
• Approximately 100 grams/400 meters or 3.5 oz./437 yards
• Recommended needle size 2.5 mm - 4 mm
• Gauge (stockinette) 28 stitches x 36 rows over 10 cm/4 inches on 3.25 mm (US 3) needles

⚜️Hand dyed in Texas in small batches

⚜️Please hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry for best color retention.  Dyes may bleed slightly on initial washing.  Always test your gauge swatch for dyes bleeding when combining colors.
